St. John’s Herr Estate will unveil its new Welcome Center at the upcoming Explore Retirement Living Open House. The community, at 200 Luther Lane, Columbia, PA, will be open to tour on Saturday, October 21, during Lancaster’s countywide “Explore Retirement Living” Open House.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., visitors can see several independent living cottages and apartments, explore the amenities and services available, and talk with residents about why they enjoy life at St. John’s Herr Estate.
This year, attendees can visit the new Welcome Center, a fully renovated 710-square-foot one-bedroom/one-bath apartment that is the new hub for engaging with clients who have begun planning their move to the community. In the center, prospective residents and family members can meet with the community’s sales counselor to discuss their specific questions, tour a model apartment, and view the options available to personalize an apartment or cottage. They can see paint, cabinet, and flooring choices as well as design upgrades that might suit their preferences and budgets.
The Welcome Center is located on the second floor of the apartment building, located on a picturesque 48-acre property in Columbia. St. John’s Herr Estate features one- and two-bedroom independent living apartment and cottage homes in a variety of floor plans as well as an on-site personal care community. During the open house, visitors will register in the apartment building and then can take a self-guided tour of the community.
St. John’s Herr Estate offers maintenance-free living, giving residents time to focus on their interests, passions, and hobbies. Residents, and their families, also have peace of mind that should their health needs change, they have access to on-site personal care services and rehabilitation and skilled nursing care services through Luthercare’s network of services in Lancaster and Lebanon counties.
