Luthercare’s Nursing Scholarship Program began in 2009 by offering scholarships to team members who were furthering their education and professional development. In 2020, with COVID-19 greatly impacting the nursing field, the scholarship program was extended for the first time to Lancaster County and Lebanon County high school students who were planning to pursue a career in nursing. Since then, Luthercare has distributed $90,000 in scholarships to 70 high school students for nursing education. The program reflects our organization’s continuing commitment to quality care and the education of healthcare professionals, and it would not be possible without the generous donors who support Luthercare’s Nursing Scholarship Fund.
