The OWLs (Older Wiser Learners) program at St. John’s Herr Estate is an enriching and educational series for older adults that is open to the greater community. This month's guest speaker is Greg Blumberg, Assistant Professor of Meteorology, Millersville University. Registration is not required for this program. One of the highlights of the summer season at Luther Acres is the annual Strawberry Festival, held rain or shine. Attendees can enjoy fresh, delicious strawberry shortcake topped with ice cream and whipped cream for $7.00, along with hot dog, chips and a drink for $5.00. This resident-led fundraiser supports benevolent care within the community.
