Residents of Luther Acres, the Luthercare community in Lititz, have been working for months to prepare items for the upcoming Holiday Bazaar. Please plan to join us for a fun day of shopping that benefits the Luthercare Resident Caring Fund! This year, the event will be held on Saturday, November 19, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Community Room of the Luther Acres Towne Center at 250 St. Luke Drive, Lititz. Shoppers will be able to pay for their purchases via cash, check, or credit card.
The sale will feature artisan vendors selling a variety of items, including redware pottery and ornaments; handcrafted cards, wooden signs and Christmas items; watercolor art; handwoven scarves and baby blankets; canned and pickled items, and jams, jellies, and honey; and much more. The Bazaar will also feature knitted and crocheted items, woodworking pieces, and holiday crafts and cards that have been handmade by Luther Acres residents. There will also be an array of donated jewelry, attic treasure items, and Christmas decorations for sale, along with many delicious homemade baked goods and candy to purchase. Baked goods frequently sell out before the end of the Bazaar, so many customers have learned to buy early.
Before you shop at the Bazaar, guests can enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast in Katy’s Grill in the Towne Center, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. The breakfast features pancakes, sausage, coffee, and juice for $7.00 (cash only) and also benefits the Luthercare Resident Caring Fund.
Preparing for the sale and pancake breakfast takes a lot of planning, organizing, and coordinating on behalf of the Luther Acres residents, and they are excited to welcome the public to this fund-raising endeavor.
