To support students who are planning to pursue a career in the nursing industry, Luthercare is currently accepting applications from local high school seniors for its 2022 Nursing Scholarship Program.
Candidates must be in their senior year and planning to enter the nursing industry. Students from public high schools in Lancaster and Lebanon Counties are eligible. One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded per school. Applicants are required to complete an application and write an essay (750 words, max) describing why they should receive the scholarship and why they are interested in the field of nursing. The application can be found here. Applicants must also submit two letters of recommendation; one from a teacher, coach, mentor, etc., and one from a community member. Scholarship applications will be accepted through May 2, 2022. All materials should be submitted to Jodi Weaver, Luthercare’s Assistant Vice President of Human Resources, via email at jweaver@luthercare.org or by mail at 600 East Main Street, Lititz, PA 17543.
Last year, Luthercare awarded $1,000 scholarships to 10 deserving recipients who were passionate about the nursing field.
Luthercare’s annual Nursing Scholarship Program reflects our organization’s continuing commitment to quality care and the education of future healthcare professionals. We are so thankful to all of our generous donors who make this possible by supporting our Nursing Scholarship Fund!
