Luther Acres, a Luthercare community in Lititz, would like to offer special thanks to Blue Ridge Communications for delivering personal, handmade Valentine’s cards and gifts to our Healthcare Center residents for the holiday!
The heartfelt cards with signed, personal messages were created by local school students, Boy and Girl Scout troops, churches, families and individuals as part of Blue Ridge Communication’s 7th annual Touch a Heart Valentine campaign. The program offers a message of love and joy to residents at local senior living communities, hospitals, veterans and U.S. soldiers serving abroad. “Our hope is that they can feel the outpouring of kindness conveyed by our loving community,” said Cindy Mellinger, Marketing/Community Relations Coordinator for Blue Ridge Communications. At Luther Acres, Mellinger delivered more than a hundred valentines and gifts on Tuesday, February 11, to the delight of residents and staff members.
Thank you for sharing this special program with our residents!
