The 10th Annual Red, White and Blueberry Jamboree will be held on Saturday, May 18, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on the campus of St. John’s Herr Estate, the Luthercare senior living community at 200 Luther Lane, Columbia. The festivities will feature the famous 300-pound blueberry pie as well as a wildlife program from ZooAmerica® North American Wildlife Park. Fun activities will include children’s games and face painting, a balloon artist, a bounce house, music, and a visit from alpacas.
Visitors who bring 10 non-perishable items to “Fill the Bus” with donations to the Columbia Food Bank will receive a free slice of pie from the 300-pound blueberry pie!
Refreshments will be available for purchase, and tours of a senior living apartment, cottage and personal care suite will be available throughout the day. The Jamboree is located at the end of Locust Street, Columbia, in front of the St. John’s Herr Estate Apartment Building. The event is held rain or shine.
