From Lancaster:
Route 30 West to Prospect Road Exit. At end of ramp turn left, go to second traffic light and turn right onto Route 462 (Columbia Avenue). Travel approximately 2 miles to Ninth Street. Turn right onto Ninth Street and travel six blocks to Locust Street. (Landmark – a school speed limit signal is at the corner of Ninth and Locust Streets). Turn right onto Locust Street and follow directly to St. John’s Herr Estate.
From Baltimore / York:
Travel Route 30 East to Prospect Road Exit in Lancaster County. Turn right at end of ramp and turn right onto Route 462 (Columbia Avenue). Follow directions above from Route 462.
From Harrisburg / Hershey:
Travel Route 283 South to Salunga Exit. Turn right onto Spooky Nook Road. Continue about 2 miles and straight through traffic light. [This intersection is Prospect Road and Marietta Avenue (Route 23)].Turn right at stop sign onto Ironville Pike. Continue approximately 2.5 miles. Go through Rt. 30 underpass, past three houses on left and turn left ontoThirteenth Street. Turn left at second stop sign onto Locust Street. Follow Locust Street to St. John’s Herr Estate.
From Philadelphia:
Travel PA Turnpike (76) West to Exit 286, Reading/ Lancaster. Follow 222 South to Route 30 and take Route 30 West to Prospect Road Exit. At end of ramp turn left, go to second traffic light and turn right onto Route 462 (Columbia Avenue). Follow directions from Route 462.
